Dear Nour,
I'm writing this letter to you because I see that you are not doing your work in the class, and you seem like you don't care about what grade you get. I want to explain for you that you are losing your opportunities and chances that you may not get again. Getting good grades, having a high GPA, and getting into a good college. These are many opportunity costs that you are missing, opportunity cost is what you give up or lose when you make a choice. When you make a choice that you are not going to do your class work, your opportunity cost is loosing out an unlimited number of things in your future. You may not realize how it is effecting you now, but you will understand that in the future. By doing that you are missing out many things in your future. For example, going to a good college, getting scholarships, having a good job, following your dreams, earn more money, and support your family. Everyone wants to get opportunities and be successful in their life, and finishing your high school education is the first step. In order to be successful, you should start caring about your grades and you should make a plan on what you want to do when you graduate by setting career and job goals. I am giving you this advise because I don't want you to make the wrong choice.
Sincerely,
your friend Melak
